BREAK IN?   What is it.    How does it work?

BREAK IN?   What is it.    How does it work?

All electronic components require some use or BREAK-IN before operational characteristics stabilize and operate at 100%.  The two most common types are Electrical and Mechanical.

OVER 90% of BREAK-IN is within speakers mechanical components.

Speaker whether it is electrostatic, ribbon, cone or other all speakers require a substantial amount of break-in time to align itself to the "SPECTRAL DENSITY" or envelope of a sound systems signal.

ALL SPEAKERS  are ELECTRO-MECHANICAL that means an electrical signal is converted to mechanical motion. Whenever there is a change in the electrical signal that is driving the speaker or transducer the mechanical motion of that device will also be altered. The mechanical properties of speakers such as cone and spider material, suspension material, cone material, voice coil design, magnetic flux density. ribbon weight, area, tension, panel dimensions, magnet distance, stator distance, electrostatic voltage differential etc..

These complex interacting properties are very dependent on the signals  "POWER SPECTRAL DENSITY".

The acceleration, deceleration and electrical damping of the speaker elements are changed when the amplifiers output signal parameters are changed (Think, interconnects, speaker cables, DAC's, amps, preamps, etc).

This gradual process can best be called RE-BREAK-IN . Every time the signal parameters change the speakers performance changes, BUT it is not instantaneous and is not logical to expect anything to happen instantly.

This means when you change a cable, cartridge, DAC, amplifier or preamplifier there is need for a RE-BREAK-IN period, ..even on older speakers!

The speaker begins a re-alignment process that can take hours, days, or weeks depending on the severity of the change.

WE CALL THIS PHENOMENON "RE-BREAK-IN"

Large Tri-Phazers require a longer break in time because of a very significant change in spectral density and distribution.

One reason audiophiles have so much trouble trying out new gear is because they do not take this into account and more importantly they do not have" Tri-Phazers".

The only thing you can be sure of is that WITHOUT TRI-PHAZERS most of what you are hearing is well designed components attempting to reproduce a " distorted" and "skewed" signal interacting with other components trying to do the same thing.

Our experience shows that ALL high end audio systems even in the 20,000$ to 50,000$ range are operating at a fraction (less than 25%) of their capability.

                                 OUCH!!

There is no preamp, amplifier, speaker, transport or DAC  that does what a Tri-Phazer was designed to do.

TRI-PHAZERS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF AN AWESOME HIGH END AUDIO SYSTEM OR HOME THEATER.

Tri-Phazer BREAK-IN

SPEAKER tri-phazers and our new "X" series line Tri-phazers begin to improve the sound FAST as the system begins to break-in performance improves dramatically within the first hours. This accelerated break-in continues for months the more you play the better it gets.

SO MUCH TO GAIN..This chart shows some Re-Breakin characteristics.

The largest amount of break-In is predominantly in the mechanical operation of speaker components and their interaction with the musical envelope being developed by the audio system.

Every minute you listen, The Tri-Phazed  waveform is improving sound and lowering distortion.

Tri-Phazers WILL IMPROVE EVERY ASPECT of
 YOUR SYSTEMS PERFORMANCE GUARANTEED

EASY to use just plug in and listen to music

This is our guarantee. YOU MUST BE 100% Satisfied or your money back!
